Owl is a message board desktop client that can work with any board using the Papatalk 4 or vBulletin 4 standards. The utility allows you to browse and post messages outside the browser, in a well-organized interface.

Right off the bat, you must use the Owl Message Board connection assistant to configure the app to connect to your favorite boards. Just input the forum URL, your username, and password, and Owl takes care of the rest.

Note that Owl offers you the possibility to connect to as many message boards as you like, and allows you to manually refresh the board or simply disconnect. Moreover, you get to configure the autorefresh function, to change the user agent, or to use the built-in encryption tool.

Owl offers you the possibility to visualize all unread posts with ease: the organization method and design resembles greatly an email client. You even get to post new messages or start new threads.

The Owl  app comes with a simple text editor that packs elementary functions, such as the possibility to change the text alignment, or to make the style bold, italic, or underlined. You can also assign tags to your posts.
