Let.ter For Mac

Designed with simplicity and efficiency in mind, Let.ter is a user-friendly and stripped-down to basics app for the Mac that enables you to do one thing and one thing only, and that is to write emails without being distracted.

In order to get started working with Let.ter, you must first choose your email provider (Gmail, Yahoo!, Outlook, Aol, Fastmail, Dreamhost, Rackspace, Mobileme, or QQ) and add your email account’s credential, namely the address and the password.

Once this is done, you are ready to start writing emails within a very clean and minimalist window. Simplicity is the word that describes Let.ter’s philosophy’s and is also the word that  best describes its user-interface.

When it comes to Let.ter’s features, things could not have been more simpler as its streamlined interface is represented by a Subject field on the top side, a “Send to whom” field on the bottom side, a preview button on the lower right side, while on the middle a writing panel, where, as expected, you can write emails.

Let.ter enables you to apply bold, italic and code effects to your emails’ text with the help of either the Format menu, with OS X’s native key shortcuts, or by utilizing specific Markdown symbols.

Emails written using Let.ter can be sent to one or multiple recipients, and can be viewed in their final form with the help of the Preview feature.
