Face2Face For Mac

Face2Face is an unobtrusive Apple Mail plug-in that can help you give a more personal look to your messages, by attaching your picture to the email contact details. At the same time, it can help you identify message senders a lot faster.

The Face2Face plug-in comes with its on installer package, which means that the whole process is reduced to simply following the on-screen instructions. Once it integrates in the Mail.app, you will be able to configure its behavior via a panel placed in the Preferences window.

To get started, you must quickly assign an image to each email account setup in the Mail app: this picture will be inserted in the contacts area in all future messages. You can choose to also see the images in your Email list.

To improve your experience, the Face2Face app keeps its own images database, so each time you receive a message from an email address that has a picture associated you will be able to see your interlocutor. However, the app is also importing images from other online sources, such as Google+, Facebook, or Flickr.

Other customization options include the possibility to use company images, to include low resolution images, or to show the image source (a small Face2Face icon) as a badge placed in the bottom right corner of the contact picture.
