Drive Uploader For Mac

Drive Uploader offers you the possibility to connect to your Google Drive account and upload entire folders to the cloud with minimum effort.

Just authorize Drive Uploader to use your Google account, select the directory you want to upload, choose the target Google Drive folder, and the app takes care of the rest.

Within the Drive Uploader main window, you get to both define uploading tasks and monitor their progress. Optionally, Drive Uploader also enables you to stop a particular transfer before completion.

When you define a new uploading task, Drive Uploader allows you to use the Finder menu to select the folder you want to transfer (you cannot upload individual files). At the same time, Drive Uploader can list all the Google Drive directories associated with your account: just select the one to which you want to send the data.

While the transfer is still active, you get to see the name and size of the currently uploaded file, but once the process is over you cannot see any details about the files or the containing folder that has been placed in the cloud.

The Drive Uploader Settings menu offers you the possibility to set up proxy hosts for the transfers. In the appropriate window, you have to input the host address, and the account’s username and password.

Drive Uploader also allows you to change the default port and select the proxy you want activated (the app provides support for two different proxies).

Note that you cannot use the Drive Uploader app without connecting to a Google account, but the app can forget it just as easily. This is great if you are using multiple Google accounts.
