DeckHub For Mac

DeckHub is a GitHub desktop client that uses the same organization scheme as the TweetDeck app developed for the Twitter social network. You get to connect to your GitHub account and organize various feeds into columns that you can see at a glance.

Right off the bat, you must log into the GitHub platform and allow the DeckHub application to control various aspects related to your account. Note that you can always revoke the authorization via the Settings panel associated with the respective GitHub account.

Worth mentioning is that DeckHub is able to work with multiple GitHub accounts at the same time and that you get to decide if you want to grant either private or public access.

DeckHub provides support for 4 types of feeds: Home, Activity, Repository, and Notifications. The latter only allows you to change the column name while the previous ones also include a search tool that can be used to customize the feed content.

As a result, you get to use DeckHub to monitor multiple repositories, or to keep track of the home and activity feeds of different users or organizations. The column’s order can be changed with simple drag and drop actions, and you get to modify the filtering rules at any time.

Additional customization options include the possibility to adjust the interface color theme (dark or light), the column size (narrow, normal, or wide), the refresh interval, or how external links are being handled.

To sum up, DeckHub offers you the possibility to interact with the GitHub platform just like you would do with your Twitter account.
