Fashion Lover is a Chrome extension that comes to the rescue whenever you want to build outfits similar to the ones you see online, but you don’t know where to start.

The Chrome add-on can scan any image open in your browser, detects clothing items, and quickly goes online to find similar items that you can purchase right away.

Like with any other Chrome extension, to get started you need to navigate to the appropriate Chrome Store page in the host application and press the “Add to Chrome” button.

The Fashion Lover icon will be placed next to the address bar right away, and you should keep it visible to be able to activate the service. All you have to do next is open the image you want to analyze in the web browser.

Fashion Lover will map the detected clothing items on the spot, and you need to hover your mouse on top of each rectangle to see the available alternatives.

Within the Fashion Lover panel, you get to see thumbnails for the top three options together with the price and the link to the online store, but you can also press the “View More” button and see more results.

The Find Similar Products panel provides more options, but you can also filter the results list by price, brands, or online shop. Of course, you can search for multiple shops and more than one brand at the same time.

Bottom line, Fashion Lover is a great addition to your Chrome web browser if you find yourself trying to build outfits, but you don’t know where to find the clothing items you see online. The add-on can scan virtually any image, but the results are not filtered by genre.
