Capturebox is a straightforward and efficient OS X application that makes it as easy as possible for you to share files with anyone with the help of instantly generated download links.

Capturebox does all this by enabling you to upload the files you need sharing onto a cloud server, and instantly generating valid download links, ready to be shared.

In order to take advantage of what Capturebox has to offer, you must first install the app on your Mac and sing up with a Capturebox account. Once this process is completed,  Capturebox will seamlessly integrate itself on the OS X status bar.

In order to share files, simply drag and drop the files from their original location in the Finder onto Capturebox’s status bar item. After the files are uploaded, a download link will be generated and directly copied to your clipboard.

In order to manage your uploaded files, simply click Capturebox’s menu bar item, and select the “View all…” option which will open your Capturebox account via your default web browser.

By clicking the “Capture Screenshot…” option, you can capture screenshots will automatically be uploaded to Capturebox’s cloud server, and, as expected, download links will be generated and copied to your clipboard.

With the help of its Preferences Menu, you can easily setup Capturebox after your own liking, for example, you can enable it to show notifications and play sounds after each upload is completed, or to open the generated link directly in the web browser.
