AirDroid For Mac

AirDroid is a simple yet powerful Mac app that enables you to create a bridge between your Mac computer and your Android device. The app enables you to access the calls history for each connect mobile device, the SMS database, allows you to send messages, to transfer files, and more.

The AirDroid desktop client enables you to connect to your free account (comes with a limited data quote), and manage all the Android devices that have been associated to the account. Of course, on the Android device, you must install the AirDroid companion app and login to the account, or connect to the same WiFi network.

AirDroid proves to be extremely useful if you need to access contact details from your phone, read or send text messages, or check the call history without interrupting your workflow: you can perform all these actions from your desktop, while remaining focused on your work.

The AirDroid system facilitates the movement of files and images between devices without having to use cables, or deal with complicated  tools: a simple drag and drop to the app’s unobtrusive status bar panel, or to the app’s main window gets the job done.

AirDroid offers you the possibility to go to the app’s web console that enables you to access your Android device via the browser. The AirMirror functionality allows you to actually see the screen of your Android device on your Mac’s desktop (a rooted Android device is required).
