uSketch For Mac

uSketch is one of the many Mac apps that offer you the possibility to give amazing, sketch like effects to your photos. What sets it aside from all the others is the stylish user interface, the original image effects and the intuitive workflow.

The design of the uSketch main window has been inspired by the classical painting tripod, while the filters and sketches can be browsed via panels attached to the sides. When you launch the application you must decide if you want to open an image from your disk or if you want to take a photo.

uSketch will capture a new photo by using your built in camera, but note that the entire process is managed within the application.

When you import an image, uSketch will place it on the bottom of the “painting tripod” in order to give a realistic look to the whole process. At this stage, a big part of the window is unused, but once you select the area of the image you want to process, uSketch will take advantage off all the available space.

uSketch comes with a collection of 6 presets designed to instantly give a specific look to your image: water flow, antique, architect sketch, painting, life in pink and natural feel.

However, you can combine the available filters (hue adjust, gamma adjust, false color, color posterize, color monochrome, spot color, vibrance, glass distortion, depth of field, unsharp mask, box blur, gloom and color controls) and sketches effects (normal, relief, faded, suppresion, crayon, achromatic, graphic pen, sepiolite and bezant) to create your own looks.
