iExifer For Mac

Photos captured by modern cameras or smartphones have all sorts of additional information embedded in the file as metadata. iExifer is a simple Mac app that enables you to visualize all that data.

iExifer comes with a very organized user interface which make the browsing process fairly straightforward. In the app’s main window you can browse folders in list mode, preview thumbnails for the included images and visualize the Exif data in a separate panel.

The application is able to process RAW Canon CR2, Nikon NRW / NEF, Pentax PEF, TIFF and JPEG image files. It comes with support for the Exif Tags 2.21 and IPTC metadata types.

For each image, iExifer can show the exposure time, the F number, the exposure program, the ISO speed ratings, the Exif version, the original date and time, the digitized date and time, the components configuration, the number of compressed bits per pixel, the exposure bias, the maximum aperture value, the metering mode, the light source, if the flash was used or not, the focal length, the maker note or the FlashPix version.

If available, iExifer is also able to display the GPS information and can find the location on a map if you are connected to the internet. What’s more, it can also display the makes notes for different types of cameras, such as Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon or Olympus.

For your convenience, iExifer comes with a basic search tool that allows you to find what you need in no time and allows you to copy the metadata to your clipboard (you can use it in another app or share it by email for example).

IExifer offers you the possibility to quickly view the metadata details embedded in your pictures and allows you to copy the info to your clipboard.
