Versatile, accurate, and intuitive image upscaler that increases image resolution by using an advanced algorithm to create additional pixels #Image Upscaling #Upscale Image #Increase Resolution #Upscaling #Upscale #Upscaler
Increasing an image's resolution is a difficult process because it involves adding detail that wasn't there in the first place. New pixels need to have data, and where do you get it from? Approximating their color based on surrounding pixels will just create a blurry image, and increasing pixel size will just yield a larger image with no improvement in quality.
Topaz Gigapixel AI is an advanced upscaler that relies on neural networking, training AI models using a vast array of images so that they can figure out how to fill in missing pixels using other imagers as examples.
One of the advantages of Gigapixel AI is that you can load and process an image in mere seconds, and without having to know anything about upscaling and photo editing. You can select one of the AI models and let the app figure out the best settings for noise suppression and blur removal, or fine-tune them yourself.
If you have multiple images you need to upscale, you can load and configure them all at once, either using the same settings for all of them or individual preferences. Then, they can all be processed in one job.
Gigapixel AI is capable of processing various types of photos, as well as artwork and computer-generated images. You can try out all the available models to see which works best for a particular file, and there are multiple ways to compare both the before and after images and the upscaling models.
As far as the results go, we were always able to find a model that provided accurate results and detail enhancement at 2x upscaling, while many images looked great even at 4x and 6x.
Of course, the results aren't always ideal at higher levels of upscaling, as finer details are sometimes washed out or inaccurate. You can always fine-tune the settings to enhance the output, and you're pretty much guaranteed to at least double each image's resolution without any issues.
Gigapixel AI runs natively on Apple's M1 processors, and this alone will give it an edge over any non-native app or web-based upscaler. Coupled with the app's intuitive design and automation, you can get through your images in no time, and the results are better or at least comparable with industry-standard upscalers. It may not be cheap, but it's available as a one-time purchase, and it's absolutely worth the money.
