Stockpile offers you the possibility to organize entire image collections by using tags and visualize their content. Just import the photos you want to manage, preview their content, and assign tags.

The viewer also keeps the image labels organized into groups, so you can quickly generate slideshows with a particular subject. Note that Stockpile does not work with the original files: you can import the same images into multiple libraries.

Right off the bat, Stockpile prompts you to create your first photo library before being able to import any pictures. The application allows you to create as many libraries as you like, and you can import the same images into different collections.

Within the Stockpile main window, you get to view the automatically generated thumbnails or use the simple search tool. The application allows you to switch to slideshow mode anytime you like, but you should consider assigning tags to be able to filter the photos.

Stockpile enables you to add as many tags as you wish to you your images, and even keeps them organized into groups. You cannot assign images to various labels with drag and drop, but in an attempt to streamline the process, Stockpile integrates autocompletion capabilities.

As a result, you can readily filter the images that have a certain subject, that have been taken on a specific location, that feature the same person, and so on.

Worth mentioning is that Stockpile allows you to select multiple tags at the same time, and you can apply two different inclusion rules: AND or OR.
