SpectraShop is a specialized, multi-platform application for measuring and analyzing visible light spectra, as well as storing results. It can be used to take measurements directly using various types of instruments, but it also allows you to import data from other sources, such as information exported from other programs.

The application has lots of possible uses, among which we can mention: fluorescence analysis, creating paint matches, determining aim values for color targets, analyzing a digital camera’s performance, analyzing goniometric data, and checking monitor calibration. Essentially, anything to do with analyzing visible light.

SpectraShop supports a wide array of instruments, either for making direct measurements or importing data. Processed information can also be exported to many popular formats, including simple spreadsheets for maximum compatibility.

Measurements are stored in collections, each of which can contain numerous spectra. You can have as many collections as you like, and all of them can be open at the same time, for complex analysis.

Included are a number of tools that make working with data easier. It has extensive graphing capabilities, allowing you to portray data in various ways, a lighting tool for analyzing samples, a complex comparison tool for finding differences, and a search tool for all open collections.
