ShowMe3D For Mac

ShowMe3D is a very slim Mac OS X application that enables you to view and convert 3D images in the MPO (multi picture object) format taken with various 3D cameras, including Sony DSC-HX7V, Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX78 or Olympus TG-610.

The application comes with multiple view modes, such as left eye / right eye (that displays one 2D image at a time), animated left / right wiggle (which does not require glasses), side-by-side (cross-eyed and parallel) plus the color and grayscale anaglyph mode for red / blue glasses.

The other important function is to easily transcode 3D MPO photographs into side-by-side or red / blue pictures formats as 2D JPEG images. After the conversion, you can easily export and print them.

Keep in mind that the ShowMe3D application for Mac does not support 3D displays from a number of devices, including 3D enabled computers running Windows or 3D television sets.

Another important thing you need to be aware of is that users with photosensitive epilepsy should stay away from the wiggle mode because it cycles between the left and right eye images. Consequently, people affected by this disease might experience seizures while wiggle mode is active.
