Search Replace Transfer is a simple to use yet very powerful Lightroom plug-in designed for bulk changes to text in Metadata Panel fields.
Installation: Start Lightroom, and open Plugin Manager from File menu. Click "Add" and navigate to folder where the BeardyReplace.lrplugin is located. Select BeardyReplace.lrplugin and click "Add Plug-in".
