Screenshot Creator offers you the possibility to refine the screenshots for your iOS applications with minimal effort, without having to deal with a complicated image editor. The results can be uploaded to the App Store, or you can decide to use them on your website.
All the images produced with the Screenshot Creator application will have the same arrangement: one or two lines of text in the top area and the iOS app screenshot encased in a device frame right beneath that. The user gets to change the frame’s model and color, together with its orientation.
Even though Screenshot Creator comes with additional customization options, these aspects remain fixed, which is great because you will be able to create a unified look throughout your screenshots collection. However, you get to work on a single image at a time.
Screenshot Creator is able to process both PNG and JPG image files, but keep in mind that the screenshots that are to be imported have to match the size of the device you are working with: 3.5 inches, 4 inches, 4.7 inches, 5.5 inches, iPad, or iPad Pro.
Within the Screenshot Creator main window, you get to choose the background to the used for the screenshot. It can be a color, a gradient comprising two colors, or an image provided by the user. In the latter case you get to adjust the picture size, horizontal and vertical offset, and apply a blurring effect.
As far as the text caption is concerned, Screenshot Creator enables you to change the font type, size, color, or vertical offset. You get to apply stroke or shadow effects.
The Screenshot Creator app is intended for iOS developers that want to show off the app's screenshots. The utility enables them to put the images in a device frame, to add text captions, to apply different effects to the background or play with the text styling.
The resulting images can be easily exported using the PNG or JPG file format. Even though you get to see the dimension of the output image, the information is not available when selecting the device frame, which can be slightly confusing if you don’t have a good memory.
You also get to work with a single image at a time and Screenshot Creator does not preserve your configuration between sessions, which can lead to a lot of repetitive actions.
