PicConvert For Mac

Manipulating large collections of image files without the proper tools can be both time consuming and tedious work. PicConvert is a compact tool that enables you to convert, resize and rename the files at the same time.

PicConvert allows the users to deal with all the configuration details for the conversion jobs in a simple yet very well organized panel. The first thing one needs to do is load the files that are to be processed.

Keep in mind that PicConvert does not come with support for drag and drop importing, so you have to go through the app’s Add Images menu. The app can work with the JPG, PNG, TIF, GIF, BMP, JPEG, and TIFF formats, both for the input and the output.

Within the PicConvert main window, you get to see the full path to each file and a different icon based on the file format. This way you can keep track of the input file formats a lot easier.

In the bottom area of the PicConvert’s main window you can choose to preserve the picture’s original size, or set a custom output size either by manually inserting the height and width values or by working with percentages.

When you specify the output format you want to use, you can also adjust the quality level by relying on a simple slider bar. Last but not least, you get to define a renaming pattern and configure an output folder (the original files will remain intact).

PicConvert brings to the table an efficient solution for both converting images to other formats and transforming the content in the process.
