MrWriter For Mac

MrWriter is a lightweight application designed to replace your pen, paper and keyboard, as it enables you to take handwritten notes using a connected stylus.

You can choose from several basic tools that can be found in most graphics applications. The pen can be used for freehand drawing, the ruler enables you to create straight lines, while the circle tool, as you can probably guess, allows you to create perfect circles.

Other than that, you have the standard eraser, selection and hand tools for performing corrections, browsing and editing your notes. You can select any of the objects on the page and move, resize or rotate them, as well as create multiple copies.

When it comes to the drawing tools, you can define the pen width and line pattern, as well as choose the desired color. However, no other predefined shapes are available, and you can only select from a few available color presets, as it is not possible to customize them.

Also, while handwritten notes are sufficient in most situations, it may sometimes be necessary to input basic text blocks, and this is not possible when using MrWriter.

MrWriter allows you to choose from several standard paper sizes, although you can define their width and height manually, as well as change the background color. Sadly, no other styles are included, such as lined or graphed paper, which would have come in handy.

If you want to share your notes with others or print them, MrWriter can export your work to PDF files.

If you are looking for a simple application that can help you take handwritten notes and save them as PDF files, MrWriter’s basic feature set should suffice. However, it is currently not versatile enough to be relied upon in all situations.
