Lightwright For Mac

The Lightwright macOS application combines the capabilities of a database with the functionality of a spreadsheet in order to create a user friendly environment for managing the paperwork required when working on professional lighting projects.

Lightwright proves to be extremely useful for both lighting designers and electricians because the generated reports retain work notes, details about moving light wheels, about the circuits that should not be overloaded, and so on.

Even though the utility does not feature a modern design, finding your way around the Lightwright user interface is fairly intuitive, thanks to its tabbed design. You get to easily access your worksheet, to add new elements, or to customize various parameters: all the items included in your electrical circuit will be displayed in list mode.

The Lightwright utility can seamlessly communicate with the Vectorworks application: with a simple mouse click you can generate a graphic representation for your circuit. Combine that with the Lightwright  detailed reports, and you will have a clear look upon your entire project.

The Lightwright documents can be modified by different users, but the app keeps track of all the changes, together with the date and time of the adjustments, and details about who made the modification. The best part is that you can always revert to a previous state in no time (Lightwright can also bring back deleted lights).
