Paint +++ For Mac

Processing image files is not always a complex and time consuming process: sometimes all you need to do is underline a certain area or add a short caption. Paint +++ is an image editor that provides a collection of basic tools suitable for dealing with this type of small adjustments.

Working with Paint +++ is fairly straightforward: start by creating a new canvas and use one of the included presets (640x480, 800x600, 1024x768 or 1280x1024) or create your own by providing the width and height. Via the Paint +++ Image menu you can easily access the image and canvas size panels and adjust their dimensions any time you like.

All the Paint +++ image editing tools are gathered in a small toolbox panel: brush, eraser,  selection (allows you to use a transparent or an opaque background), airbrush, fill, bomb, line, curve, rectangle, ellipse, rounded rectangle (you can toggle the border), text, eyedropper or zoom.

You can adjust the line width by using a slider or the color you want to use via a simple color picker. The app also includes Undo and Redo capabilities and you can specify the number of possible undos via the Preferences window.

Paint +++ allows you to save your projects using different popular image file formats: PNG, JPEG, GIF, BMP or TIFF. By default, the app will export the drawings as PNG files, but you can easily change that behavior from the Paint +++ Preferences.
