Organize your SVG icons using groups and tags, find and use items easily, and collaborate with team members by synchronizing icon libraries via cloud services #Icon Organizer #Icon Manager #SVG Organizer #Icon #SVG #Organizer
As a designer, managing all kinds of graphic resources can be a hassle when you have to create content for various projects and possibly even work with other team members. Your preferred graphic design app may already offer some of these features, but that is not a given.
Iconset is there to fill the gap if you don't already have a way to organize your SVG icons, or even if you're just looking for a better one. It is suitable for small or large scale use, and it even allows you to sync your library across devices and work together with your team.
Everything you do in Iconset is quick. You can load SVG icons with drag and drop, and then move them to your desktop or any other app exactly the same way. Alternatively, you can just copy the icon or its code to the clipboard if that's all you need.
The files in your library can be organized into sets, which in turn can be placed into groups. Tags can be attached to each particular icon, and these are then used to filter items when you're looking for something specific.
The icon sets and groups I just mentioned can also be exported to a .set file, which can then be imported by another user to gain access to all the graphic resources you have designed or collected.
Your entire icon library is saved in a folder structure on your Mac, and you can move it to any other location. If you place it on a could drive, its contents can be synchronized with any number of other devices and provide instant access to all new items to all your team members.
Iconset is a rather simple app, but it's clear that a lot of thought has gone into making the whole experience as intuitive as possible. When you also consider that your icon library can be shared and synchronized easily by taking advantage of cloud storage, you have a surprisingly versatile tool at your disposal.
