Designers working on CSS, HTML or Cocoa projects admit the importance of having quick access to an efficient color picking application. HexColor is a small Mac app that allows you to search for a specific color using its code expressed in various formats.
Moreover, you can use the HexColor selectors to pick a specific color and the app will automatically search for the code and place it on your clipboard. This way you can easily adjust the color palette used by a certain project in no time.
HexColor provides all the basic color browsing tools: visual representations, sliders, color palettes, spectrums or crayons. At the same time, the app is able to display the color code in multiple formats: Web #, Web or NSColor.
Working with HexColor is extremely intuitive: select the color you want to use on your project using your mouse. You can also input a certain code in the text box to skip to a certain palette. Once you make a selection, HexColor will automatically place the color code in your pasteboard, allowing you to use it with third party applications.
To conclude, if you need a simple yet efficient color picker that provides support for multiple color code formats, HexColor will be a great addition to your software collection.
