Filters for Photos offers you the possibility to give a fresh look to your photos by quickly applying predefined image filters. Each filter comes with associated controllers, and you can take things further by using masks.

By default, Filters for Photos features 15 image filters that cover different types of effects. However, the application offers you the option to subscribe to the developer’s newsletter in order to get access to 15 additional filters.

Make sure to use a working email address and that you have access to the account on the machine because you will have to confirm the subscription. The next step is to load the picture you want to process, and select the filter you wish to apply.

For your convenience, Filters for Photos allows you to preview the original either by holding down your mouse on top of the appropriate button or by switching to the compare mode. This way you can see if the processed image looks better than the source.

Depending on the filter you apply to the picture, you get to adjust the filter amount, contrast, brightness, colors, size, saturation, grain, scale and so on. On the other hand, if you choose to apply a mask, you have the option to customize the brush size, softness, or opacity.
