FX Foto Pro For Mac

FX Foto Pro is yet another affordable Mac OS X application that provides photo processing capabilities. With the application, you can edit your images in various ways and apply several visual effects. The modifications can be previewed as you make them thanks to realtime processing.

The application features a standard user interface comprised of multiple panes: preview area, effect and frame pane, photo editing tools pane, effect browsing pane and an upper toolbar for accessing common functions. The overall interface is dark, which helps reduce eye strain or save battery life.

Using FX Foto Pro is quite straightforward, as all functions are well-organized and visible in the main window. You can use several photo effect grouped by categories, such as Hollywood Art, Classic Lomo, Light or Antique. Each category includes multiple variations of the main effect.

As expected, the application also offers access to photo frames to decorate your images. They include both classic and modern designs. You are given the choice to adjust basic image parameters, such as exposure, brightness, saturation, tint, shadows, vignette and more.

Other benefits include support for opening images of up to 50 MB in many popular formats. A nice feature is to import HDR images as well as RAW files captured with over 150 camera models. As such, FX Foto Pro offers support for opening RAF, CRW, ARW, PEF, ORF and other RAW file types.

As an added bonus, you can share your images on Flickr or Facebook with just one click. Taking everything into consideration, FX Foto Pro does not quite distinguish itself from the other photo editing apps, but it comes with a low-cost price tag, smooth workflow and a good bunch of features.
