Illustrator CS3 has increased performance and DXF/DWG compatibility to make CADtools 5 a perfect solution for design professionals. By popular demand, version 5 emphasizes a variety of workflow solutions.

CADtools incorporates dozens of user requests like: scaled rulers and grids, linked dimensions which respond to artwork changes, as well as scaled move, transform and repeat.

Adobe Illustrator CS5 or later

Limitations in the unregistered version

7 days trial.
After 7 days, the CADtools 9 demo is limited to six of the top-level tools (CAD Rectangle, Isometric Rectangle, Dimension Resize, Horizontal Dimension by Line, Horizontal Isometric Dimension by Line, and Incremental Label). The labels are limited to a curved leader and a circular border, and all labels will contain "Demo." The demo is also limited to 1:3 scale. All other tools and scales are disabled.
