One of the app’s biggest advantages is its streamlined and intuitive design. You just need to type a prompt in the input field, as detailed as possible, and the application will start generating an image.

Once the process is completed, the picture will also be upscaled automatically, something that either isn’t available in other apps or has to be done manually. You can then save it anywhere on your Mac or share it directly.

Amazing AI only runs on Apple Silicon, and it runs on Apple’s Neural Engine. It’s also written in native code, as opposed to some other Stable Diffusion GUIs that rely on Electron. Essentially, it will run as efficiently as possible.

To get things just right, you can try tweaking the number of steps and guidance level, or even add a seed to reproduce a certain image. Multiple images can be generated from the same prompt, and you can enter new prompts while the previous one is being processed to add them to the queue.

Aside from the lack of support for Inpainting and Outpainting, which the developer has no plans to include, the app has everything you need to create images from scratch using Stable Diffusion. It can even be triggered with Shortcuts for a more efficient workflow.

While the app itself is quite large, since it has to include the AI model, the upside is that it runs completely offline. You cannot use custom models at present, but this feature is planned for a future release.
