Achroma For Mac

Achroma is a simple image processing tool that enables you to quickly remove certain colors or color ranges from your photos in order to create beautiful effects.

The Achroma app can load multiple images for processing and allows you to go through them in slideshow mode, but note that you can use different settings for each picture.

To start using the Achroma application, you must first load the images you want to work with, either by using the associated Finder menu or by relying on drag and drop actions.

Within the Achroma's main window, you will be able to review both the original and the output image and get access to extensive metadata information, such as the image type and size, the pixel density, the color model or profile, the creation or modification date, and so on.

At the same time, you must configure the color profile you want to remove: you can either rely on the predefined templates (red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, or magenta) or manually configure new ones in the Advanced panel.

Achroma comes with a List and Stamp image settings system that enables you to put the current settings on a pasteboard and then transfer the configuration to any of the other photos imported for processing.

The system is extremely useful when you are working with custom color profiles, especially if you have adjusted the color range one degree at a time by using the arrow keys (you need to double-click on the markers to activate the function).

Keep in mind that Achroma allows you to save the current slideshow by using a proprietary file format, or you can export the images individually to popular formats, such as JPEG, OpenEXR, PDF, PNG, or TIFF.
