Tower defense games combine the thrill given by shooting various enemies with the challenge of developing an effective battle strategy. Unstoppable Gorg is a great title that brings even more to the table: its beautiful graphics are a tribute to the vintage alien invasion stories that populated a large number of retro games.

The story line is quite simple: you must battle the Gorg, a powerful alien race that tries to take over the solar system. To do that, no matter the location you want to defend, you must send out satellites into space that must be placed in such a manner that all the enemy ships will be destroyed. The novelty is that the satellites are not fix: you can move them on the orbit to reach as many enemy ships as possible.

Noteworthy are also the high quality videos included in the game. The classic 1950 sci-fi look has been recreated flawlessly and the footage includes all the signature elements of vintage alien movies: flying saucers, not very realistic special effects and strange alien ships.

Unstoppable Gorg comes with 40 challenging levels in which you must use both strategy and skill to manage to defeat all the alien ships. You can play using normal speed or you can quickly enable the speed mode, if you think you are up to the task.

As usual, the game can be customized via the Options panel: you can adjust the sound and music volume, the visual quality or the resolution. Moreover, you can enables the subtitles for the cinematic episodes or change the interface language (English and German are supported).
