Train Titans For Mac

Train Titans is a small puzzle game for the Mac OS X that comes with a cute backstory: 6 train engines have been taken people and cargo to their destination all day, until they got lost. Your job is to help them get home by building railways that take them through various stations until they reach the ward that has their particular color.

Train Titans comes with two playing modes: single (survival) and puzzle. However, to be able to play a single game you must first complete 5 puzzle levels. The game comes with 28 challenging puzzles and you can choose which one you want to play from the level map.

Each time you complete a new level you will receive one, two or three stars depending on your performance. If you want to improve your score (the game includes both local and online high score boards), you can always replay a certain level. Since the puzzles difficulty level increases gradually, you might also have to try multiple times to solve a certain puzzle.

In the more complex Train Titans puzzles you will have to use teleporters, splitters, bombs, learn how to deal with mountains and rivers and more.

The available railway models are included in the build panel but not all possible usages are outlined: for example, if you build a railway to the base of a blue mountain and then drag and drop a rail on top of the mountain (move the item until it becomes green) you will be able to build a tunnel.

On the other hand, if a certain level is too complicated for you, the developers offer you the possibility to buy level passes with three stars via in-app purchases.

To sum up, if you are a trains enthusiasts that also enjoys solving puzzles, Train Titans proposes an interesting gameplay, although some of its tools and options are not very straightforward.
