In Swamp People you have to search for alligators through a wide variety of swamps, lay traps for gators and race against other AI players. You can visit the shop and spend your money on new more effective traps, bigger and more powerful boats and on new weapons. If you complete certain missions and accomplish difficult objectives you can earn numerous special bonuses.

Swamp People allows you to compete against skilled AI swampers in over 10 different locales. You can also prove your racing skills by staying in the lead on 8 different race courses. By accessing the the Map menu you can view your location in the swamp along with other hunting and racing places.

Although the gameplay is smooth and engaging it might take a while to get used to the game controls and the way the camera moves around the boat.
