Stone Flood is a free and addictive puzzle game where the goal is to fill in a board of tiles of different colors with the same color. This is simple to understand, but hard to master: you start with the tile in the lower-left corner. Afterwards, choose a color based on how many identical tiles are adjacent to the tile you started with.

This way, colors unite until one color conquers the whole board. You must use your power of observation to determine what color is best to choose next. Also, you have only a limited amount of turns at your disposal, so you must make your next move carefully.

A total of 9 different colors are supported, each with its own keyboard shortcut that can be learned from the game interface. Speaking of the game interface, it also shows the elapsed time, best score, your number of used / remaining moves, as well as a shortcut to pause the game.

Stone Flood includes a huge number of levels - 200, each being more difficult the the previous. You start by playing on a 12 by 12 board size with 6 colors, but gradually advance through more difficult levels. The biggest board size is 32 by 32, and there are a total of 6 different board sizes.

Another interesting option is the ability to play custom games outside the campaign. You can choose the board size and stone number in each. Moreover, you can toggle an option to toggle the sound and choose between 3 different skins that change the tile style.
