Arstotzka rightfully reclaims half of the border town called Grestin and here is where you come in as an immigration inspector, who needs to control the flow of people entering the Arstotzkan side of Grestin from Kolechia.

Your daily job is made even harder by the spies, smugglers and terrorists that try to hide among the hundreds of immigrants and visitors looking for work in your home country. At your disposal are only the documents presented by the travelers and the Ministry of Admission’s outdated inspect, search and fingerprint system.

Consequently, your are the last person that decides who can enter Arstotzka and who will be turned back or even arrested. Although Papers, Please features a text-based gameplay, you can improve and sharpen your memory skills.
