Micro World Evolution - To live means To struggle! is a simple game in which you control a small bacterium and try to help it grow by guiding it to nutrients or smaller organisms that can be consumed, while staying away from larger bacteria.

Sadly, the game currently only has three levels that can all be completed in no more that 15 minutes, and it lacks any advanced gameplay mechanics.

The game does not use particularly complex graphics, but they are more than enough to provide you with a pleasant visual experience. The animations are smooth and the 2D objects are well-drawn, although the backgrounds are a bit too simplistic.

The soundtrack is not disappointing and can prove to be very relaxing, even though it could use some more variation.

Your primary objective is to grow as much as possible and as quickly as you can manage. This is achieved by eating the various nutrients scattered throughout the world, as well as consuming other bacteria that are smaller than you.

Naturally, when you run into larger organisms, you are the one who can be fed upon, so try to stay away from them until you are large enough. However, this is not a difficult task, as the player-controlled bacterium is always faster than any other life form, and you are only in danger if you run into a very large group of bigger bacteria.

There are a number of power-ups that can be gathered throughout the game world and provide you with protection, a speed boost or other bonuses. Unfortunately, other organisms cannot take advantage of them, which would have let do some very exciting and dangerous situations.

Also, you cannot evolve your bacterium by improving its various capabilities, as your only objective is to increase its size until the level is completed. And, given that your progress is not timed or scored, there is little reason to play a level more than once.

Overall, Micro World Evolution - To live means To struggle! is a game that could be very fun if more levels and additional gameplay mechanics were introduced. Currently, however, it can be finished in no time at all and has little to no replay value.
