Lost Amulets: Stone Garden is a fun puzzle game that provides you with a wide range of challenges, as you can play the classic form of mahjong solitaire, a similar variation that changes the mechanics slightly and uses different tiles, as well as a series of optional mini-games.

Initially, you have to start by playing in story mode, and this involves solving several puzzles by matching the tiles on the board with the ones displayed in a separate panel. It is very similar to mahjong, and you are awarded bonuses for completing combos by matching multiple pieces in quick succession.

After solving a few puzzles in story mode, the Zen Mahjong mode becomes available. While, for the most part, it does not offer anything new, you should look out for the shiny pearls hidden throughout the levels, as they can be used to activate special abilities.

From time to time, you will be allowed to spin the Wheel of Fortune and play one of the four games that ends up being selected. These include bingo, a simple matching game and a memory challenge. While they can be skipped altogether, you are awarded between two to four pearls for completing them.

The game’s graphics are not too complex, but they are charming in their own way, and certainly do not look out of place. Moreover, you can choose between several tile patterns and styles.

The soundtrack does get a bit repetitive after a while, but it is very relaxing and goes well with the game’s overall theme.
