Jenny LeClue is an interesting detective game that comes with beautifully designed graphics and manages to create a thrilling atmosphere. The game controls are quite simple, and you learn how to interact with the surrounding environment in no time.

The Jenny LeClue game focuses around two characters: Jenny, a young detective, and Arthur K. Finklestein, which is, among other things, a jam enthusiasts.

Jenny lives in a beautiful small town named Arthurton that recently witnessed the murder or Dean Strausberry. When her mom is accused of being the killer, Jenny starts looking into the events.

Note that this is only a playable teaser, and that the game is not yet released, even if you can pre-order. The complete game is supposed to allow you to “write” the story as you go along: certain decisions lead to different outcomes within the game’s dynamic.

As you start exploring, you will notice that during your inquests you will receive information from Arthur, which represents the “narrator”.

The dialogs are intended to guide you around, but also give you the opportunity to rotate the camera and uncover details that are not otherwise visible.

However, finding your way around is fairly intuitive: on top of each area of interest you will see a small dot that you must press to interact with the region. You can easily pause the game if you need a break, or if you want to see the controls again.

The thing that makes Jenny LeClue stand out is the incredible in-game atmosphere: the beautiful graphics, the realistic sound effects, the amusing dialogue, all work together to create and exotic world filled with mysteries that put your mind to the test.
