Zombie games became extremely popular after a plethora of zombie themed movies were released. However, while there are many games in this genre out there, only a few are created by AAA developers, the others being indie titles.

One such indie game is Jason vs Zombies, a fun and entertaining game where your objective is to kill the required number of zombies as fast as possible in order to get to the next level.

The game is played within a post-apocalyptic arena and zombies are spawned automatically. The arena is filled with barrels and other type of junk that you can use to your advantage, since it can blow up when fired upon.

At first, zombies are dormant but once you go near them, they can get pretty crazy and will jump even over cliffs in order to get to you. At one time, while playing, we found ourselves chased by a headless zombie, which came very fast towards our character, killing being its only objective.

Jason vs Zombies comes with a large variety of action packed missions and fun moments. You have multiple weapons you can choose from, starting with the slingshot and ending with the machine gun. These can be unlocked as you play by getting the designated number of kills.

Jason vs Zombies is a not a great looking game since it comes with pretty rough and old textures. However, graphics aren't everything when it comes to playing a game. Thus, the game features a very enjoyable soundtrack and a very interesting game-play that may keep you playing for hours and hours, in your quest to unlock new weapons.

While there are many games out there of the same genre, some significantly better that Jason vs Zombies, you should still download its demo version on your Mac to see if it has what it takes to keep you entertained while killing hordes of zombies.
