Dinosaur Safari is a 3D rail shooter game set in a world where dinosaurs still live on your planet. Your goal is to kill as many dinosaurs as you can, unless you want to get eaten by them.

The game can be played in 2 different modes; one is called “Hunt” and the other is “Explore”. Moreover, the action takes place in various environments, from lush lakes, oasis and savannas to rocky canyons.

The gameplay consists of carefully aiming the gun at the creatures using your mouse. You can zoom in to get a better aim at your target and track your bullets from the game’s heads-up display.

Unlike other rail shooting games, you can make 360 degree tuns in any direction. You never know where the next dinosaur might come. You need to keep your eyes wide open at all times.

Although Dinosaur Safari can only be played as a single-player campaign, you can view rankings on the web. Moreover, a total of 7 trophies can be won if you have proven yourself in battle.

As far as the audiovisual aspect is concerned, Dinosaur Safari features quite decent renditions of 3D environments and dinosaurs. The movement style of these creatures are quite realistic, as well. Also, the sound and music are on par with the graphics and contribute to the overall atmosphere.

Taking all said into consideration, the game has a long way to go in terms of features, but, considering its price, it is quite well crafted. If shooter games are your cup of tea, you might like Dinosaur Safari, too.
