If you like cue sports and you are looking for a billiard game that you can play with your friends or against your computer then, Pool! is the game you are looking for.

Pool! is a straightforward 8-Ball billiard game in which you have to use your aiming skills to pocket all your balls along with the number 8 ball. Just like the game rules, the game controls are also easy-to-learn and intuitive. You just have to move your cue around the table, adjust the power level and click on the “Shot” button to hit the ball.

Pool! also enables you to make fine adjustments to your aiming in order to obtain the desired shots. The “right” and “left” arrow buttons located on either side of the table can help you move your cue to the left or to the right by small increments. To adjust the power you have to slide the “Power” slider to the red side for more powerful shots and to the green side for softer shots.

What is more, Pool! comes with five different table designs and the option to show or hide the corresponding number of each ball. Unfortunately, Pool does not provide cue ball controls using English and, as a result, you cannot control the speed and direction of the cue ball after making contact with the targeted ball.

You can play Pool! against the computer or one of your friends and enjoy the 3D graphics and ball animation. The AI is not an excellent player but it can help you in your practice sessions while you try to improve your aiming.

It would have been useful if Pool! featured more table designs, different difficulty settings for the AI player, the possibility to spin the cue ball and a marker for the pocket you chose for the eight ball.

In conclusion, Pool! is a lightweight and simple 8-Ball game that can offer minutes of fun in spite of missing certain essential features.
