Quadratic equations are part of elementary algebra, and can be solved in various modes, by applying the quadratic formula, or by graphing. The small Quadratic app for OS X is able to solve this type of equations in no time, and can also generate the visual representation for the solution.

Since Quadratic comes with its own installer package, the installation procedure for the app is reduced to simply following the on screen instructions. Once Quadratic is launched, simply input the quadratic coefficients, and you will be able to see the solution in real time.

Within the Quadratic main panel you will be able to see the quadratic formula for the current coefficients, and you will be able to see both real and imaginary solutions for the current equation. To start over, all you have to to is reset the values by pressing the Command+R hotkey.

Noteworthy is that Quadratic also generates a graph that enables you to visualize the quadratic function almost instantly: as soon as you input a new coefficient, Quadratic automatically makes the necessary adjustments.
