MathBoard For Mac

MathBoard is a versatile macOS application designed to help children practice all four basic math operations: addition, subtraction, division and multiplication. The application offers various configurable tests at the end of which you can evaluate the progress of a student.

The MathBoard app can be adjusted based on the knowledge of different types of students. Moreover, the application actually helps students solve the problems, not just to guess them, using a built-in chalkboard. The chalkboard can be drawn on with different colors of chalk and includes an eraser and a button reset the chalkboard.

Probably the best way to learn all four operations is to take tests and each inbuilt test can have any number of problems that can be of two types: multiple choice or fill in the blank. At the end of a test, you have the possibility to check the overall results and email them using your default email client.

Besides tests, MathBoard also comes with various other activities / math games, such as finding the sign, match math and a game to specify the equality or inequality of numbers and equations. All the activities can be configured and played at easy, normal or difficult levels.

In order to help kids learn how to solve math problems even further, MathBoard provides them with an integrated Problem Solver that shows all the steps in solving easy to difficult equations. The app also includes tables for each operation - addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.

Quite a large number of settings can be configured. For example, you can select the operation types you want to be included in the tests: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, squares, cubes and square root.

You can also select the number of problems, the problem style and the answer style. The number range can also be configured with minimum and maximum values. The settings window also lets you set the value for the maximum answers and toggle an ability to allow negative answers.

In a nutshell, the MathBoard app provides you with all the tools needed to learn how to solve addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division math problems on your own instead of guessing the correct answer.
