Hivebench aims to provide a secure and organized space where you can record details about your lab experiments and share the results with other members of your team.
The Hivebench app enables you to group tests into notebooks and effortlessly invite other users to join your project. Of course, you need to sign up for an account free of charge in order to start using the service.
If you opt to use the Hivebench tool while on an open science plan, all your data will be synchronized to the service’s cloud servers. However, the data remains private, and the service providers assure all users that they will never publish your research.
On the other hand, you can also contact the developers to establish an in-house server and also eliminate all service or storage limitations.
The best part in all this is that, regardless of your choice, you get to both access your data at any time, and collaborate on your projects with other team members. In fact, you can invite as many users as you like to work on a particular notebook.
Within the Hivebench user interface, you get to store general details about each experiment, such as the author, date, laboratory, or if there are any duplicate tests.
You get to set your objectives, include details about the samples you are going to use and go over the procedure you are going to employ. The same space enables you to record the results and draw the conclusions.
Note that Hivebench comes with a standard text editor that can handle most formatting tasks, but you can also attach any data relevant to your experiment, such as images, recordings, documents, files, spreadsheets, and so on.
To sum up, Hivebench delivers a well-organized space where you can keep track of projects and lab experiments. You can share the information with other service users in real time, or export everything to a PDF document to make it more easily accessible.
Even though the service providers ensure your data will remain private and that it will not be published, you can also contact them to setup a private server so that you can eliminate all limitations related to storage space or the size of your team.
