Hebrew FlashCards For Mac

Learning a new language is not easy but making sure that you are at least familiar with the base vocabulary is a step in the right direction. Hebrew FlashCards offers you the necessary tools to memorize basic Hebrew words.

By default, Hebrew FlashCards includes a collection of 3 words list comprising around 50 words, but via the “Load WordFile” panel you can easily download new lists. This way, you can expand your flashcards collection to over 4000 words.

The Hebrew FlashCards main window is separated in two areas: on the left you can see all the different tools included in the app, while on the right you can see the word lists, the flashcard content, solve different exercises and more.

The Hebrew FlashCards user interface is fairly intuitive but make sure to navigate to the “Tasks and Options” panel and adjust the apps behavior to your liking.

Hebrew FlashCards allows you to get started by exploring different word lists in Review Mode: here you can view the word written in Hebrew, its meaning, listen to the pronunciation audio (the recordings are made by a native speaker) or toggle the vowels.

The next step is to solve different types of exercises in order to assess your progress and identify the areas that still need work: if you get an answer wrong, the word is added back to the review and exercises list.

Hebrew FlashCards offers you the possibility to create your own word lists by using the existing flashcards: this way you can choose to focus on specific words, regardless of their meaning.

On the other hand, you may also create new flashcards and even record the pronunciation. The best part is that you can share the custom lists with others or even import word lists created by your friends.

Hebrew FlashCards provides quick access to a large collection of flashcards containing the base words of the Hebrew vocabulary: the fact that you can review them by subject and even solve different types of exercises will certainly boost the learning process.
