Learn to develop applications while relying on different programming languages with the help of video courses that take you through building various projects. #Learn to code #Learn programming #Build apps #Learn #Code #Programming
Learning to develop code in a new programming language can prove challenging even if you do have a technical background. Devslopes is an educational platform that aims to help you build projects for iOS, Android, or the web and expand your knowledge in a practical manner.
Within the app, you can log in to your Devslopes account to start monitoring your progress and keep track of the courses you are currently enrolled on. The app does not seem to include a sing up form, but note that you can quickly open the Devslopes chatroom in your default web browser if you have any questions.
The Devslopes platform keeps the available courses organized by category: iOS, Android, Game Academy, Web Dev, Design, and Slope Sessions (free lessons that present basic programming concepts and principles).
Devslopes relies on an in-app currency system, and you need to spend a certain amount of coins to enroll in a particular course. To get more currency, you can either take quizzes or rely on in-app purchases.
The Devslopes lessons include a video component so you can go through the principles with an instructor, but then you can take quizzes or download the project resources to start building the project on your own.
Note that you can also download the videos for offline access, and via the account panel you can see how much space take up the Devslopes resources and even choose to delete all downloaded videos.
In total, the platform provides more than 300 hours of content that covers iOS, Swift, and Protocol Oriented programming, how you can design apps using Sketch, game development projects, Angular, Objective-C, Firebase, Internet of Things projects, and more.
Devslopes focuses on project-based learning and aims to help people that don’t necessarily have a programming background to understand various languages.
Given the practical nature of the included tutorials, once you enroll in a certain course you can start developing apps right away and learn by experience.
