CourseNotes For Mac

Taking notes in class or when conducting meetings using your Mac is great since you can instantly share the information with third parties. At the same time, you get to keep them in the same place for easy access or to quickly create backups.

CourseNotes is an intuitive application that takes things further by allowing you to organize the entries by subject and then sync the data to your iOS device to make the info available on the go.

Working with CourseNotes is extremely easily: the main window is separated in two areas, one for organizing the entries and one for editing the content. CourseNotes comes with 4 different types of lists: subjects, devices, ToDo items and recent searches.

To get started, add a new subject and start typing in the note editing area. CourseNotes is able to deal with text content but can also store images. Moreover, you can choose to import content from PDF documents.

What’s more, CourseNotes is able to group your sentries by sessions inside the same subject: the top toolbar enables you to view all the entries in list form but also provides basic search capabilities.

CourseNotes comes with an iOS companion application which you can buy separately. However, if you have the application installed on all your devices, you can easily synchronize the CourseNotes database between them and have it available at all times.

CourseNotes is able to export your notes only in HTML format, so the companion app is also useful to backup your notes on another device in case you need to reinstall your system, for example.

All things considered, CourseNotes has the potential to help you organize your notes in an efficient manner, attach relevant images to each entry and keep track of your assignments for each subject (via the ToDo lists).
