First off, you can quickly start scanning your files without having to setup anything with the help of ScanSnap Manager’s three default modes, namely Recommended, Small File, and High Quality.

The Recommended mode enables you to scan documents at an automatic resolution, and with auto color detection option turned on. What’s more, ScanSnap Manager also helps you to setup your ScanSnap printer to continue scanning after the last page is scanned, or to save your documents as single-page images or double page spread images from left to right, and vice-versa.

When you want to scan a document to a PDF file, you can set marked keywords for the PDF file and convert the file to a searchable PDF with separate image and text layers.
