Hyro For Mac

Hyro is an open-source, multiplatform and very simple to use HTML5 code editor that includes a live HTML viewer right next to the editor. It is designed as a simple developer tool for coding Javascript and CSS and testing webpages in a snap.

Using Hyro does not require any expert skills. The clean and uncluttered user interface helps you focus solely on your code. Its design is minimal and you can only view the two panes for editing and previewing, as well as the tabs names with different documents.

The application implements the versatile Codemirror Javascript text editor for web browsers. Moreover, the highlighting and indentation features of Hyro are borrowed from Codemirror.

As soon as you type HTML5 code, it will be rendered in the HTML viewer pane that occupies the right half of the main window. Although it is not possible to resize the two panes, you can control the size of the window and even access it in full-screen mode.

Another great feature is the ability to work with multiple documents at the same time using tabs and different windows. You can also create a new HTML document from scratch or open an existing one. Once a document is finished, it can be saved and exported to your local drive.

Hyro works out-of-the-box and no customization options are available, besides changing the main user interface color from the View > Change Color option. It allows you to change the HEX value, the default being #E36D6D.

All things considered, Hyro is a simple, yet versatile HTML editing tool with a convenient live HTML viewer. It has the potential to facilitate webpage testing because it offers a minimal design plus the integration of Codemirror, which comes with powerful code editing functions.
