postStack For Mac

postStack is an API services testing and management tool designed to provide access to your projects wherever you are, and not only from your working Mac. The utility comes with cloud support and enables you to create your own API repository.

To start working with the postStack app, you must begin by registering for a postStack.io account. This means that all your projects will be automatically uploaded to the service’s cloud servers, and you will be able to access the information from any machine, as long as you have the appropriate credentials.

postStack creates a Master repository, and each developer gets a Personal repository forked from the Master one. When you decide to publish a project from your Personal repository to Master, postStack generates a version for your API, so you can easily track changes and rollback if necessary.

Within the postStack main window, you get to run various HTTP commands as soon as you provide the server URL. For your convenience, postStack allows you to give user-friendly names to your servers and change only the product name.

postStack provides support for the GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, PATCH and HEAD commands, includes authentication support, and offers you the possibility to work with headers.

The best part is that postStack can log all you API calls and offers you the possibility to browse the History lists. You can also decide to simply remove certain elements. The API executions can be shared with the other developers, and in exchange, you will also have access to calls ran by your team members.
