Wolf delivers access to a user-friendly environment where one can build responsive website designs without having to write a single line of code. The editor can generate HTML5 code and integrate with mobile frameworks.
Within the Wolf universe, you get to keep track of all the pages associated with a particular project and define details related to the shared header and footer or the page title, keywords, and description. What’s more, you get to connect to an FTP server and review the automatically generated source code.
To start working on a website, you need to examine the list of predefined elements included in the Inspector panel and drag and drop to the canvas area the ones you want to use in the current design.
You can reduce the overall editing time by relying on one of the predefined website templates, but keep in mind that you don’t have the option to save your models. On the other hand, Wolf comes with a proprietary file format for saving the projects so that you can work on the same website in multiple sessions.
Wolf enables you to include in your websites different types of sections, text boxes, photos or galleries, background patterns or videos, buttons, lists, menus, tables, and more.
Each of these elements comes with a customization panel where you get control of their appearance, going from changing the color or font to modifying the alignment, opacity, associated hyperlinks, launch window links, and so on.
Note that Wolf integrates both desktop and mobile preview capabilities and that you can either use the available export options to make the files ready to be uploaded to a server, or use the built-in publishing function.
Bottom line, Wolf provides a WYSIWYG environment where you can employ predefined tools to make custom designs for your website. Working with Wolf typically translates into drag and drop actions and customizing the element’s appearance via intuitive menus.
Wolf will automatically generate the source code for the page, and you can review it and extract it, export the website to various formats, or use the built-in publishing function.
