Sketchode is an uncomplicated graphic viewer designed to close the gap between designers and code developers. The app works with Sketch projects and comes with a companion plug-in that helps you export the sketches to the appropriate format.

Sketchode works with a proprietary file format, so for the development side of your organization to access the Sketch projects by using this viewing tool, you must make sure to export them to the appropriate format.

To help you with that, the Sketchode developers provide a Sketch plug-in that integrates seamlessly with the graphic editor. Moreover, Sketchode can also connect to your Jira server, which means that you get to disseminate the project files to all members with minimal effort.

It's worth mentioning that Sketchode does not feature any editing capabilities, and you cannot modify the project in any way since that is the designer’s job. However, your do get to see extensive details about each graphic element, change the visibility status, or export the image to PNG, JPG, or TIFF files.

The Sketchode user interface is split into three main columns: on the left you can see the list of graphic items organized hierarchically by groups or screens, the center is reserved for previewing the project, while on the right there is the info panel featuring details about the currently selected item.

Sketchode provides details about the sketch’s frame, the color used on a particular portion, technical specifications about the shadow if there is one, or info about the font size, style, or color. For each item, you get to see the opacity, position, or resolution.
