To start using RESTer, you must begin by creating a new project. The next step is to select the HTTP method you want to employ and provide the target web server.

The utility provides support for the following major HTTP methods: GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, OPTIONS, PATCH, HEAD, and TRACE.

Once you press the Run button, RESTer will perform the command, and you will receive a confirmation message via the Notifications Center. The rendered content can be viewed as raw text, or you can use different syntax highlighting patterns, such as HTTP, XML, or JSON.

For each HTTP query, RESTer enables you to process the data using different templates in an attempt to create simpler structures for complex bodies. Before running an HTTP request, just input the body or headers parameters that are to be automatically processed.
